The contact information for our billing service is as follows: iMed Billing Phone: 541-500-8655 Fax: 800-433-1396

Self-pay:

We are considered “out-of-network” with all other insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid (OHP). As a “fee for service” practice, payment is expected at the time of service. Some insurance plans reimburse a portion of out-of-network provider charges for psychiatry visits, at times 60-80% or more. We can help you seek reimbursement by providing “Superbill” statements with the necessary billing information to submit to your insurance company. Please contact your insurance carrier to inquire about your plan’s benefits. We believe your health and privacy are your business and our model facilitates that. Practicing independently allows for the delivery of the most effective, state of the art treatment and care. Self pay rates are as follows (a comprehensive fee schedule will be sent to established patients):

Psychiatric Evaluation (60-90 min): $325-$475

Follow-up (15-30 mins): $125-$150

Why should I use an out-of-network provider?

As an out-of-network provider, the patient has the flexibility to receive the best clinical care possible without any interference from their insurance company. Access is tailored to the patient’s needs, rather than the insurance company limiting the number of appointments, out-of-network provider appointments can last as long as needed and can be as frequent as necessary to support the unique treatment plan of an individual patient. Appointments can be scheduled directly with Southern Oregon Psychiatry without waiting for a primary care physician’s referral and approval from the insurance company. Exceptional care is taken to protect each patient’s privacy. If a patient does not seek reimbursement from the insurance company, the patient’s chart is completely confidential and will never be released without permission or legal basis.
