Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations
Mental illness is more common than is widely believed- unfortunately, due to stigma, many people living with mental illness avoid getting the help they need. If you are struggling with your mental health, it may be time to consider a psychiatric evaluation.
At Southern Oregon Psychiatry, we offer comprehensive, supportive and non-judgmental 90 minute psychiatric evaluations which help us create a tailored treatment plan that suits your individual needs. In some cases, more than one appointment may be required.
Psychiatric evaluations help us diagnose psychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. They help us get to know our patients so we can provide a more accurate diagnosis and understand their needs and goals. The provider’s goal is to foster a strong, trusting and long term therapeutic relationship in order to provide the highest quality and most effective treatment.

Medication Management
A thorough initial evaluation helps your provider to identify biological, genetic, psychological, and social factors that may be contributing to your condition. This may involve the use of laboratory testing, genetic testing, psychological testing, and in some cases, referral to other specialties (e.g. neurology, endocrinology). This allows us to pinpoint your unique needs and tailor a personalized treatment plan.

Telemedicine Option
HIPAA-compliant telepsychiatry: Southern Oregon Psychiatry offers video appointments for patients across Oregon and California using secure, HIPAA-compliant technology. This offers the convenience of psychiatric treatment from the comfort of your home or office. High-speed internet, a webcam and an updated web browser are required for treatment via telemedicine.

Concierge Membership
Concierge membership allows for more frequent visits, touchpoints between visits and greater access to your provider. Space is highly limited for concierge membership.
